If you do not go home the same day of your surgery, you will go home early the next day. This program has all the benefits of our Rapid Recovery Program while you will stay one night and be discharged the next day by 11 AM.
You will exercise in the gym or at the bedside on your day of surgery and then have one “mega session” of therapy starting at 8:30 AM the morning on the day of discharge….so be prepared to be busy! If you have reached your goals in physical therapy, you will be discharged to home after your first session in the morning at approximately 10:30 AM. If you or your therapist feels you will benefit from an additional session of therapy, you can still be ready to go home that day.
